About Our Consulting Services

Our main consulting services consist of 5 steps:

    1. Brand Diagnostic
    2. Education
    3. Identification
    4. Specification
    5. Execution

Brand Diagnostic

This is the first step and one of the most important steps. All of our clients are recommended to start with a brand diagnostic. Even if you choose not to stick with us for the rest of the journey, there is substantial value in understanding how inclusive your brand is from an objective point of view.

We map out how inclusive your brand is based on our proprietary method using the 5 sectors of inclusivity and the 4 C's.

After the brand diagnostic, you will be able to answer these questions:

  • Is my clothing brand inclusive?
  • What sector(s) of inclusivity does my clothing brand excel in?
  • How is my clothing brand able to excel in these sectors?
  • What sector(s) of inclusivity does my clothing brand underperform in?
  • How is my clothing brand underperforming in these sectors?

Education

Learn about what inclusive fashion means. You can also ask all the questions you have about inclusivity and accessibility!

After this step, you will be able to answer these questions:

  • What does an inclusive fashion industry mean?
  • What does an inclusive fashion industry look like?
  • What are the different types of inclusivity?
  • How can clothing brands be inclusive beyond expanding clothing size ranges?
  • How can clothing brands ensure they are genuinely inclusive?
  • Where is inclusivity incorporated?

Identification

Identify which sector(s) of the market your clothing brand can serve.

After this step, you will be able to answer these questions:

  • Which of the five sectors is my clothing brand aiming to improve?
  • Is addressing these sector(s) feasible for my company?
  • Will this sector be serving our existing consumer base or new consumers?
  • How will this affect our current brand image?
  • Does serving this new sector require rebranding?

Specification

Specify which of the 4 C's within the identified sectors we will be improving.

After this step, you will be able to answer these questions:

  • Which of the 4 C's is my clothing brand aiming to improve?
  • Is addressing these sector(s) feasible for my company?
  • Does my company have any transferrable resources to make this possible?

Execution

Co-create a plan with us so that you have actionable steps to achieve your goals for implementing inclusivity.

After this step, you will be able to answer these questions:

  • How is my clothing brand addressing the sector(s) of inclusivity established in step 3?
  • How is my clothing brand addressing the specified C's established in step 4?
  • How much does my company need to allocate to make these changes?
  • Does my company have the budget for this project?
  • How long will this take my company to execute this?
  • How many team members will be involved in overseeing this project?
  • Does my company need to hire any outside help for this project?
  • Does my company need to source any special materials?
  • How will we be able to uphold this type of inclusivity moving forward?

You do not need to sign up for all five of these steps. However, since these steps are progressive, it is strongly recommended that you do not book steps out of order.

If your needs fall outside of these parameters, we are still happy to work with you and customize a project especially for your company! Please contact us here or email us at michelle@wtfoffashion.com.

Examples of other projects include inclusivity and accessibility advising while creating a new clothing brand and sourcing adaptive solutions, but the possibilities are endless! We are open to helping you achieve your goals as long as it is within our field of expertise.

We do not offer in-house DEI training or evaluation. We do not offer production services such as pattern making, draping, or sample making.
