Hi! My name is Michelle and I'm honored to be your instructor♥︎
I'm so proud of you for being here! I'm incredibly passionate about creating a welcoming and inviting learning environment :)
A little about me—I am the human behind We The Future of Fashion and Sewing! I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology after studying fashion design and entrepreneurship. I started teaching people how to sew last October after my younger brother dropped out of his fashion courses because of his condescendingly rude professors. Before this, I researched fashion inclusivity with an emphasis on disability inclusion and adaptive wear. My main focus with We The Future of Fashion and Sewing is to create educational resources that empower people to be the change they want to see. You can do anything you put your mind to!
