Choose your starting point.

Standalone patterns are best if you already know your sewing machine basics. If you’re starting from zero or want the course plus ongoing projects, the membership is probably the better starting point.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. These are digital sewing patterns and guided mini courses. Nothing will be shipped.
The patterns are designed to be guided and beginner-supportive, but they are not a substitute for learning the absolute basics. If you already know how to use a sewing machine, follow a seam allowance, backstitch, press seams, and understand basic sewing terms, you can buy individual patterns on their own.

If those things still feel unfamiliar, the membership is the best starting point because it includes Ground Zero plus guided pattern drops. Ground Zero is also available on its own if you only want the beginner sewing course.
Yes. Patterns are included in the Not What It Seams Membership while your membership is active. You can also buy select patterns individually as standalone mini courses.
After checkout, you’ll receive access to the pattern mini course on Thinkific. Inside, you’ll find the pattern files, written instructions, and the guided project tutorial.
